Hampton Court Palace Bike Tours

Hampton Court Palace is the magnificent home of Henry VIII. Located on the banks of the River Thames, the palace provides the perfect destination for our easy going vintage bike ride.

The day starts at London Waterloo train station, where we travel by rail to historic Richmond to collect our vintage bicycles. After a short tour of the town, we cycle the flat riverside route with plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the sights.

After arriving at the palace, you can leave the bikes to us and enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Return to London is direct from Hampton Court to Waterloo. In season and dependant on tide times, it is possible to take the boat back to either Richmond or Westminster.

Tour Highlights

Hampton Court Palace

Hampton Court Palace…

Home of Henry VIII, history has left a palace of two distinct halves. You could say you get two palaces for the price of one! Highlights inside the palace include the magnificent Tudor kitchens, the Chapel and of course, the most famous maze in the world!

Historic Richmond…

Discover hidden gems in tucked away corners of this historic town. Maybe do a bit of celebrity spotting for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (we even see Mick Jagger's house), or just refresh yourself in the towns healing powers. Explore the remains of Richmond Palace, see the Gatehouse where Elizabeth I died and the Tudor dynasty ended...

Ham House

Ham House…

Nothing to do with sandwich fillings, this awesome riverside house is one of the most haunted in the country. Be regaled with tales of things that go bump in the night and other mysterious goings on...Ham House has played key location to numerous films including 'The Young Victoria'...

Local pubs…

Samuel Pepys once described the local pub as the heart of England. Sit on the terrace and enjoy the relaxing pace of riverside life. Sip a pint of beer and lunch like the locals...

Vintage Bike

Vintage bike ride…

Embrace the wind in your hair as we sail along the river bank. Lap up the freedom as we pass the sights and take in riverside life. Ring the bell and wave to passers by and feel a million miles away from the city…Flat, traffic free, relaxing and fun...you are guaranteed to enjoy arriving at the palace like Royalty!
